In the northern hemisphere July is a little sparse when it comes to festivals, this is because our farming forefathers were far too busy working on the land to take a break.

Originally called Quintilis in the Roman calendar, it was renamed in honour of Julius Caesar, the first Emperor of Rome.

Gemstone of the month is the Ruby, and black onyx, and the zodiac sign is Cancer the Crab (21st June - 22nd July), and the colour for July is Coral Blush.
