Techniques

Our jewellery is created using lace making and traditional stringing methods.

Braids are created with lucet and Viking-style wooden disk or Oriental Marudai.

We also use traditional knotting and rope-making/netting skills.

Bobbin lace, needle lace and Teneriffe lace inspire earrings, necklaces and bracelets.

Our pearl stringing technique would be familiar to the jewellers of the Royal Courts of Elizabeth Tudor and Mary Stuart.

Some of our wire weaving is akin to the wire work of the Vikings and Danes.

Our ornamental dolls are brought to life with individually moulded polymer clay features, wire, beads and dressed in remnants of vintage and contemporary cloth.

Festive decorations and house decor include ribbons from VV Rouleaux.
